Roasted Coffees

Regarding our coffee product line, we will commercialize exclusive 100% Arabica roasted coffees which will be also a attractive differentiator, designed to have strong organoleptic characteristics. Similar to our cocoa, the washed (fermented) Arabica beans we are choosing are grown organically, in high-altitude volcanic soil, under the shade of native trees (using bird-friendly standards), under strictly enforced agro-forestry systems in cloudy forests, commercialized under fair trade conditions.

 

We currently import three single-origin gourmet coffees, grown, fermented and roasted in Ecuador:

  • Tolas - Deep, fertile, volcanic soil along with freshwater springs and a 1,700 meter (5,500 feet) altitude provide a mature aromatic coffee.
  • Loja - From the Loja Cloud Forest comes a unique bean grown at 1,800 meters (6,000 feet) altitude where many of the indigenous people live to be more than 100 years old.
  • Galapagos - We are especially proud of our partner farms in the Galapagos Islands, who are responsibly and sustainably growing coffee by keeping invasive species at bay that would otherwise be a real menace to its fragile ecosystem. Our Galapagos coffee is unique and, because of its rarity, will be exclusive and highly desired in the marketplace.
