Manuel Narváez


Manuel Narváez is 78 years old, married and the father of 6 sons who own and operate this farm. This property is located near Ayabaca, San Antonio; 30 minutes from Cariamanga, 1,900 meters above sea level and has an average temperature of 20 degrees Celsius, optimal for good coffee cultivation.

Cariamanga is a small tourist and cultural city in the southern part the Loja province located in the southern hemisphere in the Torrid Zone between 4º 9´ and 4º 33´ south latitude; and 79º 25´ and 79º 54´ west longitude.

This is a 5 hectare farm, seeded with coffee from the Typical variety. The natural humidity benefits the post-harvest process and shadow is provided by the growth of native fruit trees such as: orange, tangerine, banana, guava and pineapple; which are harvested between the coffee harvests.

Its coffee production is of 4 QQ by hectare, the same that is sold to the stock center of Cafecom in Cariamanga.
